Welcome to Union Pacific’s Elmwood Subdivision, an n-scale model railroad.

This layout is a freelance layout. That means the towns, locations, industries, etc… are not necessarily based on the real world. Its more of mashup of different ideas I’ve seen on a variety of layouts. It gives me the ability to build what I want to build without having to worry if it “makes sense” or not.

The overall layout size and track plan is based on the Wisconsin Central layout, featured in the October 2005 Model Railroader.
